burning of empty stalks that takes place in an incinerator, which is one of the solid wastes resulting from crude oil processing. Palm bunch ash fertilizer is rich in potassium nutrients, which is around 30-35% K2O, besides that there are relatively small amounts of Mg, Ca and P nutrients.
Palm bunch ash can also be used as an ameliorant and can improve the physical properties of the soil so that drainage and soil aeration will be better.
